 We are looking for an experienced and energetic Frontline Coordinator to join the team at Bankstown YMCA located in Revesby. The successful candidate will support the team and provide leadership.

About the role

The Frontline Coordinator is responsible for providing leadership, developing procedures and demonstrating a strong culture of excellent sales and customer service. This position incorporates a heavy sales element, which involves the development and implementation of an effective sales/tours system to achieve sales targets set by the Centre Manager. The role will also be responsible for managing our birthday parties including bookings and rosters.

You will have the ability to implement YMCA sales processes, follow up on inquiries and assisting the Management Team to reach centre income targets. This position operates primarily from the front desk, with some hours to continuously monitor and improve membership, accounts, debtors and admin processes. The role requires a complete knowledge and understanding of reception / sales/ customer service. 

The successful applicant will be required to work a flexible 38 hour a week roster from Monday to Friday including occasional weekend work.

  • Previous experience in an administrative/customer service role
  • Multi-skilling and an ability to deal with a potentially busy and demanding environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Computer skills and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Previous experience in a similar role
