An opportunity now exists for a collaborative leader with significant experience in the Health and Fitness industry to join and lead the newly renovated Health & Fitness department at UNSW Fitness & Aquatic Centre.

About your next role

Being part of the Centre's Senior Management Team, this role will mentor, train and support the Fitness team, which is comprised of Fitness Instructors, Personal Trainers, and Group Fitness Instructors. Help drive attendance, occupancy and memberships. Interact with patrons and staff to create an exciting, fun and engaging experience for all. Using experience, observations and creativity to make Health & Fitness amazing!

About You

Being one of the largest Health Clubs for YMCA NSW, you will be an all-rounder, and have the ability to jump into teaching a group fitness class or support fitness instructors when required. You will also be able to analyse financial data and budgets. You are someone who will lead the team to become the best they can be and keep them motivated to make members experience awesome.

To be successful in this role, you will have

  • Relevant industry experience in a leadership role
  • Experience in program creation, development and review
  • Passionate about building a positive member experience through culture, services and programs
  • Strong business acumen
    Certificate IV in Fitness
  • AusREPS Registration
  • Current First Aid & CPR
