Our Lifeguards at Bellingen are a passionate team that are focused on public safety and making sure that our patrons are safe while they use our facility.
About the role
Reporting to the Operations Coordinator, the role will see you work a flexible roster across 7 days.
As a Lifeguard, your role will be to ensure our patrons are safe while they use our facilities as well as identifying potential risk factors and taking steps to reduce those risks. Lifeguards are positive role models in an effort to build strong people, strong families and strong communities.
As a Customer Service Officer, the main part of your role will be to undertake a range of duties to support the efficient and effective delivery of service to the patrons of the Centre You will be the face of the facility and provide a service to customers along with admin and cash handling. You will also be required to answer queries face to face/phone and online.
It's a small team at Bellingen, so we are looking for someone who is not afraid of getting their hands dirty and helping where possible.
You are a self-motivated and customer service focussed individual. You thrive in a fast paced environment and enjoy a challenge. Your superior communication and observation skills, along with your ability to keep calm and act quickly in an emergency situation will see you excel in this role!
You will also come with the following
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- Pool Lifeguard Licence (or willing to obtain)
- Previous experience working at an Aquatic facility (desirable)
