We are currently looking for a 2IC to come join the team based out of our Panania Service. 

This is a perfect opportunity for someone who wants to develop their leadership skills and also after a career within the Children Services space!   

About your new role

As the Out-of-School-Hours-Care (OSHC) 2IC, your primary responsibility will be to support the OSHC Coordinator whilst being part of ratio on the floor within the service's. You will ensure that the OSHC service is responsive to the needs of children and families. Play a role in ensuring overall quality and compliance of the management and administration of the OSHC service operations in line with YMCA NSW policies and procedures and the Education and care Services National Regulations.

  • You will bring a service orientated approach to your role
  • Have a positive and energetic outlook throughout your interactions with children, their parents and your peers
  • Provide children with educational and interactive activities whilst maintaining a child safe, supportive and clean environment

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • HLTAID004 First Aid
  • Current CPR certificate
  • Identify & Respond child protection certificate
  • Experience in leading a team of Educators (Preferred)
  • Min. Cert III in Children Services
